Each year we provided over 300 young people with over 2500 sessions in music and arts.

With weekly art & design, sound & lighting and guitar & drums session, monthly gigs and 6 weekly gallery art exhibitions, and one off projects exploring everything from mental health and World War One through performance art.

So many of our members have moved on to further education focusing on music and music technology and most are still performing regularly on the local or wider music scene.
We are still here for you!

We still have Rehearsal rooms and Recording opportunities - look on AAA Records tab for latest information.
Thanks for all your support and creativity- you still own this space so keep your ideas coming.

SOUL FOOD SAMPLES - Jamaica (Sat 4th May)

While Gen Baker is away Soul Food Samples for left to me, Ste and Stu to deliver. We were left a play list all ready to go and a list of food to buy to provide the taste of Jamaica to accompany the music.
How difficult can it be? Well firstly I had left it late to source the food so it should have gone out on the 4th May but I remembered I was in Widnes! I had joked that we could buy Jamaica Ginger Cake- this soon became a reality as the World Food Aisle only managed to stretch to Indian or Chinese! As it was becoming a thankless task I decide to relax and push Soul food to 11th May instead the day of Halton rocks.

Giving myself plenty of time to even venture outside of Halton's boundary!
However Saturday morning comes and I realise Jamaica is on my mind, I hadn't ventured out of town so Widnes shops will be getting a second chance to disappoint me!
One last store to try and all I managed was Grapefruit juice not Grapefruit Soda, Water Crackers, BBG jerk Sauce (which at least did have Jamaica written on the bottle) and yes Jamaica Ginger cake!
But it was appreciated and the guys setting up for Halton rocks sampled it too.
Looking forward to Gen doing the next one.....Louise (AAA Project Manager
